As a Network Support Analyst, you will be a key member of a global team responsible for maintaining our group-wide network operations. Your primary focus will be on Level 1 to Level 3 network topics. You will manage network infrastructure activities, including edge and data center switches, Wi-Fi, routers, and firewalls. Your goal will be to ensure the availability, performance, and integrity of the company’s data network. This role requires advanced network skills and a commitment to providing reliable network operations across the organization. 

Ideal candidate:

• Higher education in IT or related field;
• Advanced English speaking and writing;
• Proficiency in German is preferred;
• Knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP);
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in configuring and managing Cisco switches, access points, and routers incl. Catalyst Center and APIC;
• Knowledge of firewalls (implementation, administration and maintenance), preferably Fortinet;
• Datacenter Networks: Understanding of datacenter network concepts, including architecture, design, and implementation. Experience with hybrid datacenters is a plus;
• Modern Network Security Solutions: Familiarity with modern network security solutions, including Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot these solutions;
• Design and Implementation: Ability to support the design and implementation of network solutions, including troubleshooting any issues that arise.

job main tasks:

• Network Services and Projects: You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our group-wide network services and projects, adhering to the agreed scope, timeframe, and budget;
• Documentation and Standardization: You will champion the creation and upkeep of documentation, standardize procedures, and define processes within your area of expertise. This includes ensuring that all changes are formally recorded and registered;
• Network Infrastructure: You will be tasked with deploying and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring its security and availability for all users;
• Compliance: You will maintain our switches, access points, routers, and firewalls in accordance with guidelines set by our global headquarters;
• Monitoring: You will monitor the network infrastructure to ensure the availability of the company’s data network, utilizing approved monitoring tools.
