Engineer for Digitalization in Production/Operations

You're a Great Fit If you:

• Have higher education, University Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science or comparable qualification;
• Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function;
• Team player, results driven, flexible and adaptable, embracing change;
• Provides guidance regarding the coordination of department standards within overall company objectives;
• More than 3 years’ experience in the area of MES-Systems or Digitalization in Production
• Additional skills like c# .net, typescript, javascript, angular, python are welcome
• High affinity for the topics of digitalization, project management and change management;
• Passion for process improvements, very good self-organization and reliable, analytical way of working;
• Sociability, intercultural competence, persuasiveness and assertiveness;
• Independent, structured way of working and process-orientated thinking;
• Confident communication at all levels of collaboration;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Advanced written & spoken English; German is a plus.    

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Design and implement digitalization project / Industry 4.0 - "intelligent factory of tomorrow";
• Leads analysis for the conceptual design of digitalization;
• Responsible for implementation of projects to digitalize existing machinery;
• Evaluating new use cases and best practice approaches towards the smart factory;
• Supporting the specialist departments in questions of networking and digitalization;
• Design, introduction and further development of digitalization standards
• Active promotion of the digital transformation process;
• Attend actively to the global digitalization in production community;
• Setup and management of existing solutions like MES-System Cronet.
