Tool Engineer (Injection Molds)

This role focuses on managing and developing injection mold specifications, overseeing mold procurement and relocation, and supporting tool maintenance teams. It involves setting maintenance standards, driving mold strategy, and collaborating with engineering to optimize processes and industrialize new plastic components.

You're a Great Fit If You have:

• More than 3 years of experience in plastics processing engineering;
• Very good knowledge of the injection molding process and molds;
• Experience working with a filling simulation software, ideally Moldex3D;
• Independent, structured working style and process-oriented thinking;
• Confident communication at all levels of collaboration;
• Good verbal and written communication skills;
• Advanced English, written and spoken;
• German is an advantage.  

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Development and definition of all specifications for injection molding;
• Purchasing new molds and relocating molds from other locations;
• Supporting and training tool maintenance technicians;
• Developing mold standards regarding maintenance and repair activities;
• Further strategic development of molds;
• Working closely with the Injection Molding Engineer to optimize and improve the mold-related process;
• Industrializing new plastic parts.
