Local Network Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer as part of our local IT team, for our new location in Oradea.

The production plant in Oradea will thrive to become the best cost production site for competitive battery products and battery packs, mainly for the European market and will follow lean principles. The site will implement the principle "from the region, for the region" with a high degree of flexibility and customer proximity. Processes are designed exclusively digitally according to the IIoT target architecture.

All colleagues of the local IT team are functionally integrated with the headquarters in Germany and are part of one global IT team.

Your main responsibilities will look like this:

  • Be the internal point of contact for IT networking topics and will coordinate the collaboration of various interfaces.
  • Be responsible for the digital networking of machines and processes in production.
  • Design and implement of IT / OT assets management, including the initial set-up together with other functional departments.
  • Ensure customization, maintenance and operation of our production network.
  • Provide support for applications and IT processes. (M365 package)

 

Let’s meet if you have these skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field.
  • 3-5 years organizational and/or technical working experience, within the IT area.
  • Advanced English skills (speaking and writing).
  • Proficient in operating technological tools and systems, with a comprehensive understanding of IT processes and systems.
  • Analytical, solution-oriented personality over viewing the end-to-end processes with strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all areas of the company/group and the outside stakeholders.
  • Experienced usage of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong collaboration, communication skills, and ability to empower team members.
